This publication is a deeply evocative visual narrative emerging from the global pandemic’s profound impact on personal relationships and self-perception. Centered on the theme “seeing others, seeing ourselves,” it captures the third-year photography students’ exploration of identity through diverse artistic mediums—from traditional lens-based photography to collage, video, and scanography. The work reflects on isolation, digital communication, and the evolving dynamics of human connection, and it has been showcased as part of prestigious exhibitions like Maximum Exposure and the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival.
In my role as graphic design and print director, I led the design, production, and exhibition processes to ensure a visually cohesive and engaging experience. Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite tools such as InDesign and Illustrator, I meticulously managed typography, layout, and sequencing, all while collaborating with faculty, students, external artists, print vendors, and other creative partners. This collaborative approach not only enhanced the publication’s aesthetic quality but also boosted student engagement across digital and print platforms, all achieved on schedule and within budget.
